Mail Merge - Client ID Merge Field Causes Program to Close
Situation: If a Client ID or ClientID merge field is added to the Word template, when the Word document and .CSV are uploaded to the Mail Merge wizard the program will close. This is because a ClientId field is now included in the .CSV template, so when a merge field is added with the same name it creates a duplicate column conflict.
The column header must be named ClientId. If any other variation is used, the ClientId will not be displayed in the Signatures Report.
Status: Our development team is aware of this issue and they are working to resolve it.
Workarounds: You can delete the extra Client ID column in the .CSV, or use a different name for the merge field in the Word document.
