Link Multiple Tax Returns - Client Portal
We’ve had several clients ask whether it’s possible to have a single Client Portal login that allows them to access and manage all of their returns in one place. Many of our clients have both personal (1040) and multiple business returns that we prepare separately—some have three to four business entities in addition to their personal return.
Currently, they’re required to create separate logins for each return, which can be cumbersome. If there were a way to link all associated returns under one portal login, it would be much more efficient for both the client and our team.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback! The recipient can use the Merge option to display all returns for multiple email addresses in one client portal account. They would use their main email address to login.
The client can also give temporary access to their client portal to a third party.
Unfortunately, if they have already created multiple accounts, they will not be able to merge them. We are working to add more features to the Client Portal and will relay this request to our Development team.
